Steve Goodman
Steve has acted as Frontline’s professional advisor since its inception, and has been influential in designing the Frontline mode of training delivery. He is also exploring with some authorities the potential use of Reclaiming Social work within adult social services.
Steve has a BA (Hons) in Psychology, an MA in Social Work and an MBA. His social care experience ranges from working in frontline and managerial roles in Leicestershire to taking on leading positions in the London Borough of Hackney over its transformative period from 2001 to 2010.
He believes that only whole system change can truly improve child and family social work- lasting change will not be realised by making small tweaks to existing arrangements. There is a need to tackle the most difficult issues and take a holistic and critical view of organisational design and implementation.
